Having a bike in Copenhagen is like having legs. Keeping them in shape is as important.
You'll have to fix a flat tire several times, especially if you ride on wet asphalt.
To change a tire, fix the brakes and do some other things is not so complicated and you should learn to do it yourself. If you are too lazy though you better find the right mechanic, unless you want to spend more for repair than for a new bike at Kvickly.
Finally, one more tip to preserve your bike. Bicycles get stolen in Copenhagen as well, not as much as in other places, but they do. The worst place where you can leave your bike is near a train or metro station at night. Either professional thieves or drunken people on their way home are very likely to take advantage of your bicycle.

Finding a rental place to stay in Copenhagen is not so easy.
Rentals are expensive and often quite disappointing, plus the real estate agencies do not deal with any rentals, but luxurious. Usually apartments stay on the market three days top.
You can find ads in schools, university buildings, supermarkets and even some popular shops, but most likely you are going to find most ads over the internet.
Remember to move quickly and do no hesitate much.

Altan = balcony
Amager (Kbh.S) = a small island area connected to Copenhagen by bridge, on which the airport is situated. Many green areas, many built-up areas.
Andelsboliger = co-operative accommodation

Bad = bathroom (usually refers to a shower room)
